Our procedure is used to remove freckles, age spots, sun spots, and other dark spots from the face and body, presenting a skin tone that is more even, clear, and young. The overproduction of melanin, the skin pigment that naturally defines everyone’s eye, hair, and skin color, results in dark spots or hyperpigmentation. Sun exposure is the most frequent cause of hyperpigmentation, but other common causes include hormone fluctuations, pregnancy, acne, allergies, and other skin injuries. The dark spot is removed when the melanin is drawn to the surface by our procedure.

Dark Spot Removal Treatment FAQ:

Will there be any down time?

Age spots, sun spots, and freckles are just a few of the dark spots that can be removed with our procedure to reveal a more even, clean, and youthful skin tone. Melanin, the skin’s natural pigment that defines everyone’s eye, hair, and skin color, is overproduced, which results in dark spots or hyperpigmentation. In addition to hormonal fluctuations, pregnancy, acne, allergies, and other skin injuries, sun exposure is the most frequent cause of hyperpigmentation. The melanin is drawn to the surface by our procedure, which then removes the black area.

What is the difference between Dark Spot Removal Treatment and a Photo facial?

Only specific dark spots on the face or body are the focus of the dark spot removal procedure. For those who want to improve their tone, clarity, elasticity, and/or acne in addition to getting rid of facial redness and dark spots, a photo facial treats the complete face.

How many treatments will I need?

The number of treatments required will depend on the skin type and size of the client’s dark spots. The typical client will require 1-2 treatments to get rid of their black spot completely.

How do I know if it is safe to treat my dark spot?

Our Procedure will assess your dark area; if it is determined that it is not a benign pigmented lesion (safe to treat), you will be informed and directed to a dermatologist.

Will it hurt?

Customers say they experience a warm pulse on their face. Places near the forehead or hairline will be more sensitive, whereas areas with more adipose tissue will be less sensitive and may not even ache. Your skin will feel slightly tight and if you have a small sunburn after the treatment, but this will pass within a few hours. For your comfort, cooling agents will be applied to your face.

What do I need to know before my dark spot removal?

Avoid the sun and indoor tanning booths for 4-6 weeks before your treatment. If you intend to spend time in the sun, cover your face with 50 SPF sunscreen. If you arrive with a tan or sunburn, you must wait until a later time to undergo treatment for your safety.

Use of sunless tanning products should be avoided for 2-4 weeks before your visit. You will need to return later for safety reasons if self-tanner is present.

AVOID using any cosmetics on your face. Toner, lotion, and cosmetics are all included in this.

7 days before treatment, stop using any topical prescription drugs. Retin-A, Trilumen, Differin, etc. are a few examples.

If you are using a medicine that causes photosensitization, you cannot receive this treatment.

You must take antiviral medicine for three days before your appointment if you have a history of cold sores.

Botox patients must wait 4 weeks before treatment, while filler patients must wait 6 weeks.
